"After four-long years of being held in some of the starkest, quietest ,and most sterile holes NCDAC has to offer, I was recently released to general population.

Upon my release I was transferred back to Alexander Correctional where it all began. Of course, this was done with an objective. The administration hoped that I would be baited in and react to the officers’ attempts at provoking me; however, I didn't fall for it. Upon my arrival to Alexander, the majority of my property was confiscated under the guise that Alexander didn't sell the items I had–but no prison sells the same items!

I was transferred to Alexander on a Friday, and the following Monday I was placed in a car and emergency transferred to Foothills Correctional. Never before have I witnessed someone be transferred that quickly. Evidently, Alexander didn't want me there!!

Conditions here are somewhat better and other than being told not to bring my "revolutionary shit" here I've been left alone. I've enrolled in school, been assigned to a janitorial job, and I was recently taken to Duke for a procedure to have cancer removed from my thyroid gland.

I’m doing OK overall, but am in dire need of financial support, and this cannot solely be placed on the one individual who has supported me unconditionally throughout my struggles. Raising funds for me must be a collective effort. I am in need of shoes, phone and tablet time, and hygiene. And I would like to enjoy some real food.
