It’s less than a week until my first experience as an art stationery vendor at a festival on June 6th. I’m nervous, and trying to manage my expectations.
I’m trying to frame it in my head as a simple opportunity to meet people. I have no idea what to expect, and while I have experience as a vendor of wearable art in the past, this’ll be much different.
I still have a lot of prep work to do, but it’s coming along as the day approaches on June 6th. I’ve committed to “getting myself out there” at this weekly event for three months, so we’ll see. The closest I can compare it to is something like an enhanced farmer’s market with art and music focusing on local Humboldt County makers.
