@FediFollows do you know what is the deal with flipboard? Interactive or read-only?
Flipboard federates in both directions, it is possible to have conversations with the accounts. However, the big media companies tend to just use it as a one-directional feed (which is what they do on social media anyway). Flipboard was originally made as a way to read and discover articles so this makes sense.
But even as a feed it is useful, the links in posts go directly to the actual websites of the media companies.

@FediFollows The problem is that many people don't understand irony and take such accounts as real accounts (no joke).
Yes, I would separate comedy and satire, it's not journalism/news. -
