OMG I just saw a 2 bedroom apartment in my hood for $3500 a month. I realize this is not too unusual, but dang! When my daughter was born our huge 2 bedroom (renovated but not a luxury gut job) was $295, a year later moved up to a 3 bedroom for $345. Rent is crazy. This is Uptown, not Downtown, geez.
