What would you have to do to create your own podcast?

I currently run a podcast that I produce every other week. There is another that I mainly am the technical director/co-host for but that runs once or twice a month. I'm in the planning stage to start up another one that is going to be a weekly show and right now I'm figuring out its scheduling.

I've thought about adding a podcast to my blog. But there is a lot of things I've got to work out before I get that started.

A podcast doesn't have to be this one hour or longer production. It can be a simple audio recording of whatever length of your thoughts or ideas that can be put up on to YouTube or Spotify.

I've thought about reading some of my own writings through a Podcast. Maybe once a week or once a month I could read something from my work.
