Organizational update: FediForum, this time, is organized entirely by @j12t . The previous co-organizer is no longer involved.
Johannes' previous announcement said "transitioning out" because there were a lot of accounts to transfer and settings to change and responsibilities to be moved so the transition could not be immediate. However, we have been scrambling and believe it is now complete.
(It is possible we missed something. If so, please point this out, gently if possible :-))

@fediforum @j12t a lot of trans people on fedi are understandably disturbed by the fact that it took a community effort to oust Kaliya from her position as co-organizer. in light of all of that, I think it would be more than appropriate to have the current organizer and/or the organization as a whole affirm their commitment to trans inclusion and the safety of transgender people on fedi.
especially with today being Trans Day of Visibility, I think that would go a long way toward restoring some goodwill.

@YKantRachelRead Good idea. Let us quote from our code of conduct, very first sentence:
"FediForum is committed to providing a welcoming and harassment-free environment for participants of all races, gender and trans statuses, sexual orientations, physical abilities, physical appearances, and beliefs."
Is that what you had in mind?
