Urgent #MutualAidRequest to help a couple of disabled trans artists stay safe
Goal:
$20/$100Hello Fedi. My partner @LukeOrion and I are a couple of disabled trans artists/musicians currently stuck in South Dakota until we can raise enough to get the brakes on the RV that we live in fixed. We have a goal of $100 for today again that help go toward securing another night at the RV Park where we’ve been staying, and finally being able to put in another groceries delivery.
We recently escaped from homelessness thanks to raising for our RV, but unfortunately the power brakes system has failed (apparently the reason the engine was stalling during braking). And we’re currently stuck in South Dakota of all places while this is happening. This has completely upended our plans for getting back on our feet. Until we can get the brakes fixed, we can’t leave the RV park because it would potentially put us, our two cats, and others in danger. We need to be able to keep staying in place for now.
