What is your favorite literary genre? Why do you like that one over something else?

Have always gravitated (hah pun intended) towards the sci-fi genre. To explore those fantastical worlds have been exciting to read and the adventures found there are (going to do it again) are out of this world.

I can read the occasional sci-fi but I also like horror, fantasy, romance, historical fiction, etc.

Science fiction is my favorite genre of literature without a doubt. Science fiction is an excellent medium which enables authors to make enough research by building imaginary worlds with futuristic societies. Best of all, science fiction gives pure entertainment.

Historical fiction is one of the genres that I highly enjoy. The experience of traveling back in time completely draws me in. Historical fiction correctly reintroduces historical moments to readers in ways that let both past and present feel accessible.

There is a lot of genres I can deal with except for non-fiction. The only time I deal with non-fiction is if I decide to read someone's autobiography.
