Yes, truly, until the woke socialist state took over, charity was solving all kinds of problems. You ever heard of the Great Depression? No you didn't, there was no such thing, because of all the fookin' charity.

Because you won't donate to charity, that's why. If there was a massive charity problem, where people were just donating so much money to charity we had nothing to do with it all, most of us could stop working.
But we don't have that problem, hence government services. I'm open to something else that doesn't lead to people hoarding their shit, but so far governments and taxation and social programs seem to be better than, at least, nothing, and certainly a damned sight better than charity.
