Crazy Machines 3: Rube Goldberg Madness - Your Experiences?
-
Hey there, beautiful people!
I just published my deep dive into Crazy Machines 3 over on the blog, and I'm curious about your experiences with this physics puzzle madness!
For those who haven't played it, it's all about building these ridiculous chain-reaction machines to accomplish simple tasks in the most complicated way possible. Think dominoes knocking over platforms that launch basketballs that trigger switches... you get the idea.
I found myself simultaneously loving the "AHA!" moments when everything worked and wanting to throw my mouse across the room when gears wouldn't mesh properly because they were two pixels off alignment.
What about you folks?
- Have you managed to build any particularly satisfying or ridiculous contraptions?
- What's your approach to solving these puzzles - methodical planning or random experimentation?
- Do you think the difficulty curve is well-balanced or did you hit any major walls?
- For those who've explored the Steam Workshop, found any must-try community creations?
