So I'm going to need to take #donations . Looking at @Liberapay , but they still need a #payment #processor like #Paypal.
So what's the advantage of something like Liberapay if I still need Paypal to handle actual donations? Not criticizing, attempting to learn. #Fedi -

The comparisons then are between Liberapay, patreon & ko-fi. I use all of the above, & so far no one is supporting me through Liberapay but if I could force my patrons on ko-fi & patreon onto Liberapay I would. Why? Nonprofit Liberapay respects privacy & our time. The others are for profit & bombard us with meaningless notifications.

Granted, it seriously reduces who donates but no middle-person needed.
If you're in the UK Metro Bank have a business bank account with zero monthly fees for non-profits.

@networkstring @neil @Liberapay I don't know anything about IBAN. Maybe something I can investigate.
As for cash in the post, I don't trust that. Thinking about checks or physical donations and then I'd need a PO Box. $200 for 12 months. Maybe if/when someone wants to send me something then I'll get a PO Box.
I'm in the US though. I have to wait for my official docs for incorporating then I'm going to a bank to see what i need to do.
