PeerTube has started out as a student project but has since gained an international recognition.An increasing number of institutions and media outlets use PeerTube to share and distribute their videos, and community initiatives such as TILVids or MakerTube are attracting a growing number of content creators.We're really amazed to see the PeerTube ecosystem growing!

@josh I guess that’s what’s ultimately frustrating me.What’s FOSS for, ultimately, but to be used? If it can only get used by the FOSS community with no intention of bridging the gap to non-FOSS aficionados, isn’t that just navel-gazing?I’m desperate to use FOSS tools, but if everything is ultimately just going to be a development exercise it all just seems like so much hype. On a personal level, it’s exhausting to keep extending trust and investment in projects and platforms more interested in their function than their purpose. I’m starting to get disillusioned...
