It's currently in the chicken and egg phase where it needs more content to attract the masses. Please consider being an early adopter, it can only expand your reach!

Each platform you upload to is more work and friction and currently Peertube is both very small and makes no money, so it's hard to justify uploading to given that this is my job

It was actually super easy to do until YouTube blocked our IP address and made it impossible for creators on our platform to have #PeerTube automatically pull in the content they create (description, title, keywords, etc). Google intentionally works to keep their monopoly intact.

@Techaltar @thibaultmol @lps @tilvids Peertube connects into the entire Fediverse. Anyone on any Fediverse platform can find you. You do have to promote it. That's 20 million people approximately, though we'll never know for sure. And your current profit is going from 0 as you don't upload to Peertube now. This hedges your bets in case Google decides to change something again and pulls your stuff down. Can't pull down the Fediverse.

@tilvids @Techaltar @thibaultmol @lps @peertube I wonder if you could somehow route your library sync feature through a #VPN ? @peertube or a VPN provider know that could help or give suggestions? Any #networking folks?
