So this video found its way to me today.
I like Struthless—I purchased his previous book and just ordered his new one.
And this video gave me a bit of creative hope. He referred to the term “HopeCore”, which I’d never heard of, and after looking what it meant I can see why he wanted to differentiate this video from that social media trend… Perpetual optimism is virtuous, but it’s also okay to feel angry and frustrated, too.
Anyway, for all my artist friends I thought I’d put it out there. Struthless seems like a good man just doing his best and trying to make up for the mistakes of his past, and that’s endearing. He frames things in ways I get. I thought you all might find it interesting.
