How do you usually celebrate your favorite holiday? Do you have any special traditions or activities that make it memorable?

Our family likes to spend Christmas Eve together over at our house. We have dinner and the kids get a chance to open some presents. It's always a fun time and exhausting at the same time but, we love hosting it.

I'd like to end up starting a new tradition for Christmas. My hubby and I open presents on Christmas eve and then we spend Christmas day just hanging out and relaxing by ourselves at home......

@JennyorAlice In my house this is usually how we celebrate Christmas! We open gifts on Christmas Eve but have dinner on Christmas day and just relax. I started doing this when my wife and I moved in with her parents.

I am a Hindu and I celebrate Dushera and Diwali. During these holidays, it is a custom to have a family gathering and eat, drink, and have fun.

Christmas is definitely my favorite holiday! I get to spend time with friends and family, exchange gifts, and have some superb food, which I think is pretty much what the holiday revolves around.

For me, this is all about Halloween! I just love the spooky thrills and putting on costumes. We always host a costume party with games, movies and lots of candy. It's really so much fun!

Thanksgiving would be the holiday I enjoy most. The process of bringing relatives together in one room, treating them to the mouth-watering feast. we show our most prayers of gratefulness during the year. We always take time to write down things we are grateful for.
