What is the best tip(s) someone has given you regarding managing your money/finances?

Don't spend any lol, one piece of advice was given is to save up the amount of an item you are looking to purchase. Use a credit card to buy it and then pay off the amount with your saved funds.

I had someone tell me this one time.....if you can pay your rent with 1 week worth of your pay, then you can make it (financially speaking, of course). So far, that little bit of advice has worked out for me.

One of the best pieces of advice I got about managing money is to make a budget and follow it. Keeping track of my spending helps me see where my money goes and lets me save better for future goals.
