@josh I guess that’s what’s ultimately frustrating me.What’s FOSS for, ultimately, but to be used? If it can only get used by the FOSS community with no intention of bridging the gap to non-FOSS aficionados, isn’t that just navel-gazing?I’m desperate to use FOSS tools, but if everything is ultimately just going to be a development exercise it all just seems like so much hype. On a personal level, it’s exhausting to keep extending trust and investment in projects and platforms more interested in their function than their purpose. I’m starting to get disillusioned...

@tbcr I've been doing fantastic. Started a podcast Fireside Fedi. Started a nonprofit BT Free, btfree.org. just trying to get it all up and running. And I completely understand about the priorities. Let me know if you ever need help figuring things out. Have a lot of folks in my matrix and we all love helping more Fedi folks. :-).Excited to catch your SGDQ run in the future.

@mrchrisadams I'm literally working on a nonprofit to foster the Fediverse in numerous ways. One is a moderated Peertube instance. I'm hoping were only a few days from opening. It's at tubefree.org and as I said it's backed by my nonprofit I started literally a few weeks ago called BT Free, btfree.org. Let me know if you're interested or have folks who are, etc. @btfree
