Owncast is a great piece of software and is truly stable for livestreaming. I've been using it for a few years now and is part of the places I stream too.

Patient Migration: How Are You Helping Others Move to the Fediverse?Hey community!
In our latest podcast episode, I explored why rushing people to Mastodon, BlueSky and other Fediverse platforms often backfires. Those massive exodus waves from Twitter/X might feel satisfying, but they tend to overwhelm servers and frustrate newcomers.
Instead, I've found success with a more patient approach:
- Targeting tech-savvy family members first

- Matching people to instances based on their interests
- Offering hands-on setup assistance
- Gradually introducing core concepts
